Some early sketches for the FMP.
The first half is an elevated version of my Running Thoughts project from EP&IV. A kind of sculpture/comics hybrid that would results in an installation.
The second half is my Breathing Canvas idea which is sort of like a minimalistic and abstract approach to convey the feeling of stress or unexplainable anxiety. I want it to be kinetic. I want the result to be subtle yet interesting so people would take a second look.
As this one is a bit ambitious, I consulted with James Irwin, the 3d workshop and also the creative technology lab and the verdict is: IT IS VERY POSSIBLE.

The problem with custom inflatables is that it is a bit difficult to manufacture just one and since I’m not sure which shape I actually want to do it is a bit of a blur to me. BUT I do like this set up with the plinths.
Even though I have to develop both, at some point it would be great to combine the two.
Things may change.
