Thinking about the material for this concept and the idea of blowing up. Balloons are quite an accurate representation of feeling empty but also wanting to explode. It reminds me of the show last year at CSM. The collection was all over the internet. Fredrik Tjaerandsen made a collection of latex garments the deflates to form looks on the runway. It was a joke for a while as well but apart from the viral success he is also a L’Oreal Professional Young Talent Award Winner. It’s quite genius actually.
