Last term I had the urge to cut some foams into shapes so I did.
I encountered a new way of creating shapes by moving the material itself to form the shape. It was surprisingly satisfying and I’m trying to archive it here in a blog post.
These are some pieces that looks good enough to photograph properly.
I really like them and I hope I can expand to other materials such as wood or clay but it might turn really abstract which is actually not what I want in the end of this course.
